Jason’s Countryside Experience Tour

Our Countryside Experience Tour is for people who want to get away from the tourist attractions, meet the locals and see the authentic side of Cambodia and its people.

Our tour takes you into the rural communities around Kampot, visiting local villages, pagodas, and farms while learning about the daily life, religion, and culture of modern Cambodia. We’ll meet local people, hear their stories, and gain insight into their culture.

Our tour is an easy, relaxed bicycle ride along country roads, with frequent stops for walking tours, photos, and refreshing iced coffee or tea from local vendors. The total route is about 20km, with around four hours of gentle cycling spread across an eight-hour day.

The highlight of our tour stopping for a home-cooked Cambodian meal made by our Khmer friend Vin and her family in their 120-year-old wooden house. It’s real local food, full of flavor and tradition. Vegetarian and allergy-friendly options are available.

We leave at 9:00am from downtown Kampot and get back to town between 4:30 – 5:30pm

The tour is $25 or 100,000 Riel. It includes bicycles, all drinks, and food.
