Jason’s Countryside Experience Tour

Our Countryside Experience Tour is for people who want to get away from the tourist attractions, meet the locals and see the authentic side of Cambodia and its people.

Our tour takes you into the rural communities around Kampot, visiting local villages, pagodas, and farms while learning about the daily life, religion, and culture of modern Cambodia. We’ll meet local people, hear their stories, and gain insight into their culture.

Our tour is a leisurely ride down country roads by bicycle, stopping often for walking tours, a refreshing iced coffee or tea, and a closer look at how Cambodians live and work. The cycling is easy, with plenty of breaks. The total route is about 20km, with roughly four hours of riding over the course of the eight-hour tour.

We leave at 9:00am from downtown Kampot and get back to town between 4:30 – 5:30pm

A highlight of our tour is visiting a local family in their 120-year-old traditional wooden home, where you’ll get to enjoy some authentic home-cooked Cambodian food made by Vin and her family.

The tour is $25 or 100,000 Riel. It includes bicycles, all drinks, and food.
